Small Steps Upwards is our family owned & state certified group family home-based daycare center, located in the Bronx, New York.

"Small Steps Upwards" is also our motto for daily life... Just like a baby who has to take small steps in order to learn how to walk through life, we all need to take small steps upwards (in the right direction) of wherever it is we want to go.  Let's get Steppin'! 👣

Small Steps Center is our Goshen, NY extension location, specializing in Afterschool Special Education, Consultation, & Early Intervention Services.

Family First Steps Center is our sister site at the same location, an Orange County recognized Parent Training Center offering training on proper play for families and siblings of neurodivergent children (autism, ADHD, dyslexia, etc).

We currently accept all children aged 2+

We accept Cash, Check, ACS Vouchers, Venmo, Cash App, & Paypal.  Ask about any other form of payment to see if we can accept it.

Our normal business hours are between 8am-6pm Monday through Friday.  However, we may be able to accommodate earlier/later times and/or weekend hours if needed.  Contact us with the specifics of your needs and we will work out a plan with you!

Yes for a small fee!  As long as your child attends one of the local schools in Goshen or Chester, NY, we can arrange for them to be picked up and brought to Small Steps Center for after-school learning.  Please remember that you can have your special education student dropped off to us by their public school bus upon request!
